Leadership Opportunities

Student Council

President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer and two representatives in 6th & 7th grades. The Student Council helps share ideas, interests, and concerns with teachers and administration. It also help raise funds for school-wide activities, including social events, community projects, and helping people in need.

school safety program

Our School Safety Program consists of student leaders who guide and assist in our arrival and dismissal program.  They direct drivers, assist students, and play an integral part in the safety and efficiency of our arrival and dismissal program. Safeties must demonstrate strength in reliability, confidence, and patience.  

Leadership Elective

St. Patrick School students in 8th grade are offered the opportunity to enroll in Leadership. Leadership (8th Grade Only): Leadership students learn about the characteristics, attributes, and skills that encompass good leadership. They engage in discussions and debates, plan school activities, and provide service to their school and their classmates. Some key components of this program will be organizing and overseeing our school-wide safety program, broadcasting our weekly Shamrock SONrise news program, working with Student Council on various student events, and assisting with our school-wide buddy program.

Altar Server program

Our Altar Servers assist the priest during Mass. They must be willing, interested, and committed to serve and live by following Jesus’ examples of love, generosity and commitment. 

middle school discipleship program

Our 7th and 8th graders participate in a weekly discipleship program led by BeLove Revolution (girls) and Forged (boys).  Every Thursday they are invited to grow in their relationship with Christ as they connect in small groups and engage in meaningful activities.  Monthly Adoration is offered as well as a fall and spring retreat at Our Lady of the Lakes Retreat Center right here in Brighton.
