The purpose of the dress code is to allow children to distinguish themselves by their character and achievement, not by their attire. We value your partnership and ask that our parents adhere to the dress code standards set forth by St. Patrick Catholic School for all children of the St. Patrick family.
School-wide Uniform Policy
General Appearance
All hair should be neatly groomed and styled to stay out of the eyes.
Boy’s hair must be top of collar length or shorter.
Small, simple, stud-type earrings, or snug hoops are acceptable for girls only.
No make-up or unnatural hair colors are permitted, including bleaching.
A single necklace and/or bracelet is permitted.
Neutral nail color only. No fake nails.
Simple hair accessories- such as bows, barrettes, hair ties, or headbands may be worn.
Belts must be worn with pants and shorts.
Shirts must be tucked in.
Short and Skirt Length:
No shorter than 3 inches above the kneecap (or a 6-inch inseam) and should fit at the natural waistline.
Navy blue modesty shorts or leggings are to be worn under skirt.
Shorts may be worn in Aug, Sept, Oct, April, May and June.
No shorts may be worn on Mass days.
Physical Education attire
Gray, navy, or green gym t-shirts (these may be purchased from Dennis uniform OR our spiritwear shop.)
Solid black athletic shorts (6 inch inseam or more) or solid black athletic pants.
Athletic shoes must be worn.
Dennis Uniform sweatpants and Dennis Uniform crewneck sweatshirt may be worn during winter months.
No yoga or compression pants. Black leggings are permitted K-3 only.
St. Patrick School athletic team warm ups are not permitted- unless given special approval (championship game, etc.)
Footwear
Footwear should be in good condition, neat and clean, neutral in color, and secured (tied laces or velcro).
Shoes must have closed toes and closed back.
Athletic shoes are acceptable. No high tops.
Boots may be worn outdoors only.
No high heels or platforms.
No wheelies, lights, or other gadgets.
Socks must be worn at all times.
