Peer Mediation
Peer Mediation Class
Peer Mediation/ Conflict Resolution are classes especially designed to help students recognize that conflicts are a natural part of life. The lessons presented, teach students the core reasons conflicts occur and how to best deal with them in a Christ like manner.
Peer Mediation is a class designed to train a select group of 8th grade students to act as mediators in daily conflicts that arise with other students in the course of a school day. Peer mediators use a carefully constructed script to help guide students toward understanding the reasons for their conflicts, and come to a win-win agreement to end them. Peer to peer mediation is confidential and led by the students, yet monitored by an adult staff member.
